Description
These beautiful wishing stones were gathered off the Atlantic Ocean shores of Salem, MA (aka Witch City) on the day of Venus, on astrological Beltane, at dusk, under the full moon and lunar eclipse in Scorpio. I hand selected each ocean stone for its dazzling beauty and unique character and healing energy.
These particular stones are “wishing stones”. Wishing stones are beach rocks that have an unbroken stripe or ring around them. Legend says that these magickal stones are lucky and will make your wishes come true. Some folklore says that if you make a single wish for yourself on one of these stones, your one wish will come true… but if you make a wish for someone else, their wish will be granted and all of your wishes will come true. Other folklore says that if you trace your finger around the ring while making a wish, and then throw the stone into the sea or gift it to someone else, your wish will come true. Yet other lore claims that as long as you have the wishing stone near you while you are making your wish, it will come true, and that the special stone can be continually used for more wishes, which makes this truly a magickal stone!
Each stone is energetically cleansed, hand washed in fresh water, hand polished with organic jojoba oil, and blessed to help whoever needs it.
These 100% natural wishing stones have been charged by the light of the sun, moon, and stars, kissed by the elements, and purified and revitalized by the uplifting negative ions of the surf as they were tossed and tumbled to smooth perfection through the currents and waves of salty sea.
Each of these stunning wishing stones carry a strong current of the water element, as well as the elements of earth and air. The coast is a liminal space – the meeting of sea, sand, and sky – a portal between the realms, and as such, these minerals hold a powerful magick.
This listing is for one small wishing stone. They are each approximately between 1-2” in size. Each wishing stone is unique. One will be intuitively chosen for you. Please note: The wishing stone chosen may or may not be one pictured, but will be similar if not pictured.
